These molds are very big,we usually use P20,718 mold steel and use good accessary spare parts, In furniture moulds there is chance of the spare parts being damaged due to the continuous opening and closing of the moulds, so it is important to use high quality accessories. Also, with a good hardened mould you would be able to avoid flashes at the ends and sides of the product and prevent any kind of repairs. A good hardness is 38 to 40HRC for chair and table moulds.
